Baby Weston

What an adventure! A lot has happened in the past couple of months we welcomed a new baby into our home and we both are so happy. We are so full of love at this time in our life we cant think of anything else that we may want.

It was definitely an exciting week when our little man decided to show his cute face. its true what they say the last month of pregnancy is very uncomfortable I wasn't getting much sleep and I was still working which added to my irritability. Despite all the swollen body parts and grumpiness Nick was such a great support.

A couple days before I gave birth to Weston I was in a fender bender which started my labor process. Luckily everything was fine with the baby and myself but our car was banged up pretty bad. I'm sure with the stress of the accident and just being full term it was time for Baby to show up. About two days later I broke my water and it was down hill from there. 16 hours later Weston was born via forcepts he weighed 9 pounds 12.4 ounces and was 21.5 inches long

Our NEW Dining Set

I have been wanting a new Dining Set for a while now, we have been married for 3.5 years and we haven't purchased a table so I thought that we probably should before this little guy comes other wise we will never get one! I got it at JCPenney's for a steal and we love it!

We currently have the leaf out so its smaller, but this is what the set looks like with all 7 pieces.

Preparing for Baby

Nick and I live in a one bedroom apartment it is a very nice size at 960 square feet, but I felt that we needed to "Maximize Space" (Word of the month Nick is sick of it lol). I wanted to make sure that everything had its own place and we could find it easily. I made a list of everything that we needed to accomplish and just this past week I got to cross off a ton of things. By the way I love you Nick! He worked so hard at installing shelves and then taking them down (Totally my fault) and then putting them up again, filling holes in the walls after I mark the wrong spot. (It was all my fault I'm pregnant what can I say?)Anyway you get the idea he did alot for me.

I wish I had a before picture to show the impact of the change that was made, but imagine there being only two shelves parallel to each other on opposite walls and 3/4 of the way up the wall. NOW: There are six shelves in the shape of a "U". The top shelf will be for all our baby things including clothes, toys, blankets and all other things baby.

This is our entry closet to the apartment we installed two more additional shelves to store FOOD! I wanted a food pantry to help out with storage in our kitchen and now we definitely have a ton more space in our kitchen for what ever we need for our baby boy! The same day I deep cleaned the Kitchen and reorganized every drawer and cabinet it was so fun, but I felt the pain the next day for sure.

This is the other side to the entry closet: Food and Laundry, Recycling below and dinner trays against the wall. This was so fun to do because it had such a dramatic result.

My BIG Belly

I have been so busy with work and growing a baby that I haven't had any time to blog. I'm here now though, and boy here I am. My perfectly round belly at the time of this photo at 27 weeks is now very lumpy at 29 weeks with an elbow here a bum there hes getting so big at 2.5 pounds and 16 inches long. Atta Boy!

In the lobby of our Apartment Building there were several people staring :)

Here is another picture of my belly, poorly lit I admit but you get the idea. I'm huge!

I'm very excited to become a mother and meet my little man.

NEW YORK, NEW YORK

New York here we come... New years in New York what a dream come true we stayed with some great friends and they showed us the town. We walked everywhere from China Town to the Brooklyn Bridge to Times Square it was so packed and there were so many drunk people it was hilarious. We had the best Chinese food in China Town (Lemon Chicken was to die for). Later we spent the night in Queens. It was definitely a night to remember.

The tolls were outrageous! We paid over 60 bucks from Baltimore to New York!

$8 dollar tolls nuts! WE MADE IT!! All the bright lights! View from Brooklyn Bridge it was so cold up there!
